Michael Carey has had a varied career as a litigator in the civil and criminal arenas. Mr. Carey has tried hundreds of bench and jury trials in criminal, traffic and personal injury cases. Whether handling a traffic matter, a serious felony or a personal injury case, Mr. Carey has established himself as an effective advocate for his client's interests. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Carey also served on the Cook County Sheriff's Merit Board for 16 years where he dealt with certifications of individuals for hiring with the Sheriff's office and presided over scores of disciplinary hearings.
